How can you major make a world a better place?

 

Hi!✌ Today I’ll talk to you about Public Administration.

Public administration affects the world by directly influencing people's lives, since its decisions in terms of management and implementation of public policies will have positive or negative effects on the quality of life and the political, social, economic and cultural development of society.

Public administrators have the ability to understand the functioning of the State and translate the shortcomings and social problems, so being a specialty that connects people with the State, it is possible to generate benefits and meet public needs when it is exercised in a good way.

In this process of learning what it is to be a public administrator I see myself wanting to contribute to society and be part of the solution to the problem, promoting a more open government and implementing efficient policies that help people.

Post 4: Hotcakes 🥞💓

Hello, this is my fourth post! today I bring you one of my favorite foods.👀 I love hotcakes and I love to cook them!🥞 They are fluffier and thicker pancakes and they´re the typical breakfast in the United States. They are a batter made with flour, eggs, milk, yeast and butter and are cooked in a pan for a couple of minutes on each side until golden brown. I love hotcakes because they´re very versatile, you can eat them for breakfast, as a dessert or just because, they can be sweet or savory, using fruits, jams, chocolate, butter, honey and many other things. If they´re a little harmful to your health because of the sugar or fillings you add to them, however you can replace the flour with oatmeal and you´d have healthy pancakes. I hope you like pancakes too!👅💓

 Hi!💘✌ As a child I wanted to be a math teacher or doctor because I loved the idea of teaching and helping people but years later I decided that math wasn´t a good idea haha. After that, until the day of the university application I was convinced to study medicine even though I was always interested in public service and government issues.   Finally I got the score for medicine but decided it wasn't my way and switched to public administration. I decided for this major because I think Chile can be a better country and I'd love to contribute to that.   So far my college experience has been a little frustrating about online classes but I really hope the pandemic is over so I can meet them all 💖   Cheers!👀

Post 2: Why did I choose my major?

  Hi✌💗 As a child I wanted to be a math teacher or doctor because I loved the idea of teaching and helping people but years later I decided that math wasn´t a good idea haha. After that, until the day of the university application I was convinced to study medicine even though I was always interested in public service and government issues.  Finally I got the score for medicine but decided it wasn't my way and switched to public administration. I decided for this major because I think Chile can be a better country and I'd love to contribute to that.
